The Last Friday Tradition

Can you believe that today is the last Friday before Christmas? I just don’t know where the month (or year) has gone! Tonight we are making the traditional pilgrimage downtown to see the lights. I don’t know why this is a tradition, it’s always a miserably cold mob scene, but it’s tradition.
Today is the last day of school until January 7th. That sounds like such a long time. Normally I’m a little worried about this time and keeping the kids occupied, but mainly I’m really excited to get to sleep in. I’ve been exhausted lately, and I’m not really sure why. So possibly a trip to the doctor’s office is in order as well!

What a beautiful tree! We haven’t seen any of the big city trees this year, but our neighborhood is decorated pretty at least!
